Blocked Drain Clearing

Blocked drains can occur from many different causes including and not limited to: tree roots, broken and misaligned pipes, crushed and collapsed pipes, objects, poor installation (gradient and design issues), and silt/debris build up.

A blocked drain can often be identified by noticing toilet flushing issues, overflowing roof gutters, flooding of sumps/grates, basins/showers/sinks overflowing or slow draining, bad smells and saturated ground conditions.

Whatever the problem Hydromatic has a solution. We use specialised drain equipment including mechanical electric eel machines, small and large high pressure jetting machinery for drains between 40 mm in diameter up to 1 meter diameter sewer and stormwater, CCTV drain camera and locating equipment, chemical applications, root inhibitors/herbicides (commercial grade), and excavation and repair of drains with major problems. Often the blockage can be cleared by simply “electric eeling” the drain or high pressure jetting.

Our staff are highly skilled and well trained in drain clearing procedures and our aim is to always offer the most economical solution for our valued clients. Hydromatic can respond to emergency blocked drains, as well as offer advice and solutions to reoccurring problem drains.
